Next Generation Leaders Initiative

Faced with a global array of challenges from inequality to the climate crisis, young people are grappling with how to reimagine democracy in ways that deliver for all. NDI supports young people to channel their energy, creativity and aspirations to step into leadership roles to shape the next generation of democratic institutions, policies and values.

Through its Next Generation Leaders Initiative, NDI will engage up to 20 young leaders already contributing to inclusive organizing and governance to tackle global challenges. Through a selective nomination process, young leaders representing a diversity of lived experiences and identities will be invited to convene alongside their senior political counterparts for the ILF2024.

Support the Next Generation of Leaders

Your sponsorship of a Next Generation Leader will allow that leader to attend ILF and reap the vast benefits of learning, collaborating and networking with established leaders from the global democracy community well into the future.

In addition to building democratic leaders, your Next Generation Leaders sponsorship will provide attendance and recognition at the Next Generation Leaders Lunch, prominent signage and table placement, other promotional and networking opportunities as well as an opportunity to meet with the full cohort of leaders.
